Every year tens of thousands of headphones and earbuds are thrown into local landfills, contributing to an enormous amount of unnecessary waste. We want to do our part to end that cycle. And we want to pay you to help us.
On Saturday June 25th, Experience Headphones will be hosting an event in partnership with RYU to encourage people to recycle their old headphones.
From 11am – 5pm visit the newly renovated RYU location on West 4th Street and bring your old, broken and/or unwanted pair of headphones or earbuds to be recycled. The goal is to fill the bin to the brim. All products will be sent to the Electronic Recycling Association and go toward supporting local charities.
As if helping the environment isn’t enough incentive, we want to pay you for your contributions. Every customer who recycles a pair of headphones will receive a $25 gift certificate for Experience Headphones, and a $25 gift certificate for RYU. Not a bad payday for recycling your old headphones.
This event is going to be massive. We have Spin Society doing classes in the courtyard. Corey and Jennifer from Vancity Showdown helping to demo the all new Jaybird Freedom Wireless Sport Earbuds and even a BBQ in the late afternoon to top everything off.
Put your fitness to the test with the all new Jaybird Freedom wireless sport earbuds, which are being demonstrated at the event and sold exclusively through Experience Headphones during the month of June.
